Gallery: Weddings at Tundra Springs
Each wedding at Tundra Springs starts with the same setting: 240 private acres at the top of a mountain in Hot Sulphur Springs, Colorado, with 360-degree views of the Rocky Mountains. What couples create there is entirely their own.
The images on this page move across the property. The 40-acre lower meadow, covered in wildflowers in season, can hold the largest tented weddings and faces Rocky Mountain National Park, Longs Peak, Elk Mountain and Twin Peaks. The spring-fed pond has a 3,500 sq. ft. deck lit by Edison lights, a covered gazebo with swings and a firepit lounge. The two modern tree houses connect to a 40-foot Outlook Nest and a custom slide. The Hobbit Hole is a true-to-Tolkien pub with a candlelit dining booth, set into the side of the mountain. The Serenity Cabin sits near the summit, facing east for sunrise.
Because the property has as few rules as possible and no fixed guest count, no two celebrations here have to look alike. Each couple and their vendors decide the layout, the scale and the style, and the result can be as intimate or as expansive as they like.
For planners assessing the site, these photographs give a sense of scale and light. A private tour shows the rest.
